Note: As AP's reviews concentrated on examples, rather than the "It is good because it is good" approach beloved of our crap rivals, we were dismayed to find that, practically, only "for example," "for instance" and "say" existed to introduce them. (Synonyms such as "As a case in point," for example, are too stuffy.)

Foul eggs
(1) The player's characters in Super Puyo Puyo and similar games. (2) Symbolic of inflicting defeat.

Example 1: "A level four chain reaction! Taste my foul eggs, you cur!"
Example 2: "I've won! Taste my foul eggs!"
Secret origin: Originally from "It tried to lay its foul eggs in my mouth!", a phrase Dave Green remains determined to include should he write a science-fiction film. The transition to referring to the game Super Puyo Puyo is obscure, but probably involves "Eugh, that's not egg!" coinciding with the release of the game, which naturally became known as Super Foul Egg, and its stablemate Doctor Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. "Taste my foul eggs you cur!" in relation to playing the game was first used by Jonathan Nash.*
Note: We were delighted to receive a splendid clone of Super Puyo Puyo for AP58's coverdisk, and insisted it was renamed Super Foul Egg.
