Just thought I'd point out that if you wish to phone PSM2's Advertising department you can at 01225 442244. If you want to phone PSM2 in person you can at 01225 788157.

ok i've only read like 4 pages of this thread so if I'm repeating someone i appologise.

Publishers don't offer bribes per se, however it is very common to call and check the score, for the packaging of course. If the score is lower than they would like then the publisher will use the same call to inform them that they would like all adverts for their products removed from the next two months.

Lets take Atari for exapmple how many ads do they have in PSM2 this month 4? maybe 5? well at £7000 per advert thats £28000 it doesn't sound that much but when you think what fanb0y was interviewed by future, thats the yearly salaries of 2 and a 1/3 people. I'll just leave you to think about that.

comments Mike?

I'm not XBW so I'm going to be honest. None.

It's in their magazine so why not? If they didn't want (loving) phone calls then why put it in there? I'm sure lots of pissed off readers phone up...

"Arh cam fram Landan"

Done. And. Dusted.

I love the fact that you can't copy and paste Spong's material (you have to actually write it out on a post if you want it to get on here, as a pop-up window comes up telling you to get it "licensed" if you try to C+P), but they see fit to lift stuff posted on here without providing a link to it!!

The sheer hypocrisy!!

Eh? Confused I have no problems ctrl-c/ctrl-ving their stuff, maybe its just an IE thing (I have Firefox Cool )

Right click on the page and select "View Source". Then explore the html/php whatever until you find what you want. Then copy and paste it. If it is not there and you see "frames" being mentioned anywhere, look for the "src" of the frame and visit that address. More often than not the article will be at that url, and it is simply displayed inside the frame.

It's completely impossible to completely hide the content of a viewable webpage. A lot of admins just presume we're stupid.
