No idea, but does include 1001 bugs and glitches – at no extra cost to the consumer Very Happy

RRP: £44.99.

The bugs cost you an extra fiver, I'm afraid. Very Happy

That Xbox World 'voucher' has probably boosted the price. Laughing

I've just read the first page of this thread including the long quote made by Steve from another forum and the fact that Driv3r is getting such review scores and selling at £44.99 RRP is just plain silly. I haven't played the game but I actually want to now to see for myself how bad it really is.

I agree with Eighthours in saying that PS2 owners in general accept crappy games, hence Gamespots higher reader ratings for the PS2 version.

It cost me £3 Cool Cool

After trading in RSC2 and an Xbox MicroCon for a total of £33 anyway, then using a £2.00 credit note.

I didn't really like RalliSport Challenge 2, it was too arcadey.

If you're a committed people watcher try checking out the atari official Driver 3 forum. It's like an enormous pile up on the M1. Only with less dead people.

I'd just like to point out that IGNs' review means jack sh*t. After all, they gave True w***: Streets Of w*** (Clever, ey?) 9.0. They deserve to die.

I've not played Driv3r yet, cuz it's not arrived yet.

Having just bought and finished true crime, I can honestly say that it's one of the most painful experiences I've ever had. And not in a good way.

Who wants to see a real car-crash?

http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=310

The Atari forums are full of deluded fanboys. Have a look and read some of their amusingly retarded comments!! Cool

Even so, GameSpot have always been a reliable review source in the past and agreed with everything IGN posted.

However, True Crime was sorely disappointing.

Perhaps the PS2 version is better than the xbox counterpart. I dont see why PS2 gamers would be more willing to accept an unplayable game than Xbox gamers.

And yes, I know that IGN scored the Xbox version 0.1 point higher, but lets face it, rather than waste another 30 hours playing the same thing again, they probably just shoved the PS2 disc in & said "Shorter draw distance, knock it down a bit".

I'm more than prepared to be wrong on this, but it seems odd that a large percentage of people are ripping the game to shreds, whilst a few people see it as the best thing since sliced GTA.

I can't really comment on how the PS2 version physically handles since I've not played it, only sat next to someone playing it for a period of time. However, after comparing the two purely as a visual analysis, I'm fairly certain the differences are minimal - glitches and all.

Shorter load times, less aliasing, a bit less slowdown. That's it. Otherwise the versions are practically identical.
