Why was I banned?

Hello. J Nash here. My original thread was deleted, then the repost after I naturally assumed that was a mistake, then someone else's "Why was that thread deleted?" thread was locked, then I was banned (username and IP). So I've had to re-reg, through a proxy, because it's the only way to get this message through. (EDIT. And then my re-reg was banned before I could even post. Let's see if I'm swifter this time without using "J Nash" in the name, which appears to trigger insta-pre-bans.)

Mod Pelloki said (of my Drivergate topic and the repost): "I removed them - it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. As long as I've been on here the topic's been rehashed and rehashed to the point of ridiculousness. The situation isn't up for discussion here unless I'm instructed otherwise."

Whether or not mod Pelloki's opinion is correct (and obviously I disagree -- as far as I know, Drivergate was never again addressed after the original threads were suddenly deleted by Future in July 2004) the insta-bans clearly contravene (er) the official New Warning/Banning System rules:

At no point did I receive any message of any kind, whether warning or otherwise, nor obv any chance to defend myself. (And, as I say, I carefully read the T&Cs before posting in the first place, so did not write anything that might break any rules.) Might I ask for a second opinion, or at least this thread to be left alone until one can be given? Thanks.

EDIT. Anyone wishing to contact me is advised to use the drivergate.returns@falsebit.gmail.com address (remove the falsebit). I received an e-mail notification that someone had sent a PM, except of course my account is banned so the message is lost forever.
