EVERY OTHER SATURDAY VIDEO REVIEW - December 1996
Indescribably tedious and seemingly pointless rag-bag of
cutting-room cast-off Hunnish clips, leaping around the last five years in a scattergun
fashion that's as directionless as it is confusing. Lots of footage of players
getting physiotherapy in swimming pools, making tackles in the middle of the pitch and
running up and down training grounds breaks up some thrilling behind-the-scenes club
canteen action, and that's about your lot. The only marginally interesting bit is when one collection of unconnected clips is soundtracked not by the usual cheesy generic Euro-rock, but by something that sounds slightly like The God Save The Queen Symphony from the Sex Pistols' Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle. Even the most braindead Hun diehard, however, will most likely already be sound asleep and dreaming little Hun dreams by the time it happens. VERDICT: Shit. * |
