Though many mags caused us unhappiness - no copy of Amiga Action got out of the office alive, for example, and gentleman editor Jonathan Davies was once seen to utterly destroy the repulsively disgusting "poster mag" his beloved Sega Zone had become upon being sold to another company, with a terrifying icy calmness - only CU Amiga made us physically sick.

Needful of a place to discuss the mag, Stuart and I stopped at a cafe for a working lunch, during which we contracted food poisoning. Comparing notes later, we realised that the seemingly innocuous act of talking about CU Amiga had resulted in our each being feverish and repeatedly, violently ill for three days solidly, in my case, horribly, out of a window as I was too weak to leave my bed. That's quite a legacy for any mag.

Oh, and giving the foully bugged Kick Off '96 79%, of course.

And Rise of the Robots 90%.
