I've no idea why I was known in AP as J Nash.

I think it came about because I used it in Our Brilliant Year 1994, where I deftly avoided answering any questions by rattling on about fearfully setting my place at the oaken table of the mighty beings and saving The Pope, and was just one of those things that was picked up on and used by AP and then by the readers.

(In fact, I'm still addressed as J Nash by some chums today.)

If that is indeed the origin, then I chuckle secretly, for I merely used J Nash as Jonathan would have pushed the intro off the page and I'd've had to cut it.

Odd how these things come about, eh?
