As you possibly know, I loathe the motor-car. It is unsurprising, therefore, that I'm describing entirely the wrong thing.

A flatbed lorry, I learn, is a gigantic articulated thing with a flat bit behind instead of a trailer, and not a small open-backed van of the sort used by gardening centres or decorating firms, which is what I meant, having humorously fallen out of one while filming a pursuing car for a short some time before.

(This also explains the massively over-excited reaction to the story I would mystifiedly receive.)
