ORIGIN: UK Pocketeer no. 31282 (1975)

VARIANTS: Tilt'n'Turn (US, identical)

GAMEPLAY: Another of the first batch of Pocketeers, Rock'n'Roll resembles the old-style fairground games where you had to insert a coin, and then guide it back safely out of the bottom of the machine. The only control is a lever which tilts the platforms back and forth, the object being to get the balls into the high-scoring areas. Easy if you're patient, but the temptation to show off and try to go too fast leads inevitably to disaster.
