ORIGIN: UK Pocketeer no. 31278 (1975) VARIANTS: Soccer, basketball game GAMEPLAY: A cute way of simulating a game of football - you shoot with the flippers, a couple of pins act as "defenders", and if you let the ball slip between your flippers, you lose a goal. Unfortunately, it's very easy to cheat - if you hold the lever down, the ball can't get between your flippers. Also, if you trap it between the flippers by doing that, and then shoot, the ball almost always goes directly up in a straight line into the opposition's goal. But hey - you're only cheating yourself, you know. |

VARIANT: Basketball game ORIGIN: US Tomy Pocket Game DIFFERENCES: Name, colour, theme and graphics. I don't know what the actual name of this one is - presumably it's not "Basketball", since there are already two Tomy Pocket Games of that title. |
