The gift for the town with everything - a hill.
This is the view to the south-west from the Knock summit. Bathgate is at the upper right.
Looking roughly north-west from the Knock, the tiny bump just above the centre
of this shot is the Neolithic burial mound of Cairnpapple, about 400 yards away.
While to the north-east we see an interesting-looking stone circle. The truth about this particular "henge", however, can be found in the "Miscellaneous" section at this Cairnpapple-related link.
A little further down the slopes, looking south-east towards Livingston.
You'd think, this close to the Sun, it'd be a bit warmer, wouldn't you?
