Hello. Sadly, since this page was linked to on MetaFilter, everything's gone a little bit crazy. The server held up fine under the strain, sending out over one million MB of downloads, but naturally the hosts, who were hosting the file for free, at this point became alarmed at the prospect of harassment from the RIAA due to the sheer volume of traffic, and have taken it down for the time being. In the meantime, the file ("100songs.zip") is available for sharing through the eMule and eDonkey networks 24 hours a day, and also through the excellent Soulseek P2P network most of the time. Clearly, it'd be a big help if anyone downloading it could leave it in their share directory for a while so it can be spread more widely. The direct download will be restored here when traffic has reached a slightly less insane level. Sorry for any disappointment - you should have been here sooner...
